The President, Roger Frank, and the Vice-President for Europe, Antonio Gens, are delighted to announce that the Cypriot Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering is now a member society of the ISSMGE.
- CAPG Survey
We are pleased to inform you that the ISSMGE global survey on State of the Art (SOA) and State of Practice (SOP) launched by the combined efforts of the Technical Committees (TCs), the CAPG (Corporate Associates Presidential Group) and the TOC (Technical Oversight Committee), has been a great success. The TCs have to be warmly congratulated for their efforts in providing sound and appropriate questions. The number and quality of the answers received demonstrated their interest with respect to important concerns met in many fields of our profession. Member society officers are reminded that the TC database is now online (http://www.issmge.org/committees/technical-committees) and is the definitive source of TC information (Terms of Reference, & Membership lists). All Member Societies were invited to nominate a representative who would be entrusted with entering the details of their member society’s nominees on the database. If your society does not have such a representative, please contact the Secretariat (secretariat@issmge.org)
