5th International Conference on Transportation Geotechnics 2024 – 18. – 20. November 2024 Sydney, Australia

On behalf of the Organising Committee, we have the pleasure of inviting you to the 5th International Conference on Transportation Geotechnics (ICTG) 2024, to be held in Sydney from 18 to 20 November 2024, organised by the Transport Research Centre, University of Technology Sydney (UTS), in liaison with ISSMGE Technical Committees, Transportation Geotechnics (TC202), Ground Improvement (TC211), Sustainability in Geotechnical Engineering (TC307) and the Australian Geomechanics Society (AGS).

The Conference will aim at promoting concepts and applications predominantly in the fields of transport infrastructure design, ground improvement and related natural hazards mitigation. This major event will act as a platform to disseminate the most recent research and field advances to the geotechnical community around the globe through active pathways of academia and practice. Outstanding Keynote and State of the Art lectures, State of Practice and Heritage presentations, and brain-storming technical discussions will contribute three days of scientific and technical discourse, followed by attractive excursions encompassing the awesome natural landscape of the state of New South Wales (NSW).
