1st International Symposium on Construction Resources for Environmentally Sustainable Technologies (CREST 2020) Kyushu University, Fukuoka, Japan| March 9 – 11, 2021

Dear Colleagues,

Hope all of you are in good health and the best of your spirit in spite of the adversities due to COVID–19 pandemic.

International Symposium on Construction Resources and Environmentally Sustainable Technology (CREST 2020) was originally scheduled to be held during March 10-12, 2020 at Fukuoka, Japan.

However, due to deteriorating scenario globally, arising out of COVID–19 virus pandemic, the Symposium has been postponed until March 2021.

The tentative dates for the symposium (including the related workshops and technical tour) are March 9 – 11, 2021.

We would like to use this setback as an opportunity by providing chances to those, who could not submit papers previously, and, therefore, invite new call for extended abstracts and full papers.

The schedules for new call for the extended abstracts and full papers are as mentioned below,

Extended abstract submission starts	~Started~
Extended abstract submission deadline	15th May, 2020
Extended abstract acceptance notification	15th June, 2020
Full paper submission deadline	15th July, 2020

We would like to request our colleagues, who have already registered, to kindly share this information with their colleagues and students.

However, please note that the preparation for the proceedings is going as per schedule and the proceedings will be published soon (within 2020).
Authors, whose extended abstracts have already been accepted, but have not submitted their full papers yet, are requested to submit their full-length papers by 15th May, 2020.
We would like to once again mention that, all the extended abstracts will be published in the symposium as abstract proceedings, and the full-length papers will be published as proceedings by Springer as a series publication titled “Advances in Sustainable Construction and Resource Management”.
The proceedings will be made available to all the authors, according to the original schedule.
Also, selected papers will also be published in Journal of Environmental Geotechnics and Forensic Engineering Journal, ICE.
In addition, young scientists and researchers will be rewarded for best papers.
